| Specimen: | Clinician or Patient collected vaginal swab specimen using Aptima Multitest Swab. Urine Minimum 5mL and no more than 30mL of first catch urine stream(dirty catch) collected in a sterile container or transfer urine to the Aptima urine specimen transport tube within 24 hours. |

| Collection: | Collect sample using the Aptima Multitest Swab by inserting 2 inches into the vagina and rotating for 10 to 30 seconds. Place swab into the transport tube and break the shaft against the side of the tube. |
| Rejection Criteria: | Incorrect collection, inappropriate source, or incorrect collection unit. Urine – more than 30 mL of urine is too dilute to test. |
