Specimen: | Blood: (1) Red (no preservative) top vacutainer tube.
Peak levels- collect 2 hours after oral dose of rapid dissolution, 5-9 hours after sustained release prep, or 1 hour post IV loading dose & every 1-4 hours after each dose.
Include dosage schedule and type of theophylline on request form. |
