Collection: | If tube other than an SST is collected, transfer serum to a tightly capped plastic aliquot tube within 2 hours of collection for transport.
Maintain specimen at room temperature. |
Rejection Criteria: | Hemolysis; Lipemia; gross bacterial contamination; improper labeling. |
