Specimen: | Blood; (1) SST (serum separator), Red (no preservative), Green (lithium heparin) or Gray (sodium flouride and potassium oxalate) top vacutainer tube.
Collect specimen 1 hour after completion of drink. |

Minimum Volume: | 100 microL serum/plasma or microtainer |
Collection: | If tube other than an SST or PST (plasma separator tube) is collected, transfer serum or plasma to a tightly capped plastic aliquot tube for transport within 2 hours of collection.
Refrigerate at 2-8°C for 7 days; sodium fluoride and potassium oxalate is stable at room temperature for 24 hours. |
