| Collection: | Notify Histology at extension 1376 before sending the specimen to the laboratory. Specimen should be sent immediately after collection.

| Additional Information: | Notify Pathology department for frozen sections scheduled before or after stated hours. Results of frozen section are communicated directly to the surgeon via the telephone. |
| Testing Includes: | Gross examination, frozen section interpretation, followed by routine histopathology examination. |
